Secretary's Report No report made. <br /> 111. Communication's - <br /> A. South Cape Beach Management Plan-Gus is concerned there will only be three <br /> lifeguards- no back up situation. Also concerned about parking fees. <br /> B. Task Force for Children - Gus is representing Mashpee and will have more <br /> information after the April 13th meeting. Money should be available every year for 5 <br /> years. <br /> IV. Repo SS5 - <br /> A. Old Business- <br /> 1. By-Laws- MaryAnne made a motion to have 7 Members including one <br /> principal on a rotating basis. This year has been relatively smooth with the use <br /> of the buildings. We want to make sure this continues and all problems are <br /> ironed out We would like a school calendar earlier. Gus thanked Nick for his <br /> staff s cooperation this year. Next year Nick said he will not be running <br /> programs. Leisure Services will be doing the programs. Please remind Nick <br /> towards the end of May to meet with Bob and people involved with <br /> intramurals to create calendar. Gus will get some examples of <br /> contract/agencies for next month's meeting. <br /> 2. Youth Commission Update - Bulletin Board - excellent idea. <br /> B. New Business - <br /> 1. Spring Programs- some classes had to be canceled. <br /> Z. Summer Programs -Summer camps - interest in camps already. May have <br /> mountain climbing trip with Dr. Silva. <br /> 3. 125th Anniversary - Memorial Day weekend - <br /> Bands/Crafts/Dance/Clambake <br /> 4. Recognition Night- Everyone was for this idea Help would be needed. <br /> S. Recreation Building Plans - Everyone liked these plans. Possibly changing <br /> meeting rooms to make them larger - using moving walls. <br />
