Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes 2 <br /> February 23, 1998 <br /> COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> Correspondence from Ho 's Masnee Cinemas: <br /> The Board received correspondence from the manager of the Mashpee <br /> Hoyt's Cinema dated February 5, 1998 in appreciation for the professional <br /> and timely response of the Fire Department on the evening of January 29, 1998 <br /> with reference to a natural gas leak in one of the auditoriums. (enclosed) <br /> PPOINT 4ENT AND HEARINGS: <br /> Public Hearing- Transfer of All Alcohol Retail Package Goods Store <br /> License from L.L.R.C. Inc. to Chaudbry's Market: <br /> Selectman Costa opened the Public Hearing on the application of Chaudhry's <br /> Market for a transfer of the Annual All Alcohol Retail Package Goods Store <br /> License from L.L.R.C., Inc., d/b/a The Italian Market. <br /> Mrs. Mason,Assistant to the Executive Secretary read aloud the Public <br /> Hearing notice as published. It was noted that the All Alcohol Retail Package <br /> Goods Store License of The Italian Market was renewed by the Selectmen, <br /> and held pending approval of the license transfer. All license fees and <br /> necessary paperwork are in order for the Board's approval. <br /> Attorney Richard Schiffmann was present to discuss the license application. <br /> Majid Chaudhry, president and owner was present with manager, Tammy Cruz <br /> to review the transfer request with members of the Board of Selectmen. <br /> Selectman Costa opened the Public Hearing to obtain comment. Being none, <br /> Selectman Costa requested a vote from the Board to close the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Frye to close the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Caffyn. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> The following amendments were established by the Board, and approved by <br /> the applicant; <br /> 6a.
