Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes 6 <br /> January 25, 1999 <br /> COMM MCATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE- <br /> Donation of Conservation Land from Laurence Sullivan: <br /> Correspondence was received from the Town Planner dated <br /> January 25, 1999 relative to the donation of a 26.8 acre parcel of <br /> land located within the South Mashpee Pine Barrens from Laurence Sullivan. <br /> It was noted that the Conservation Commission has accepted the offer <br /> of land. The Open Space committee may recognize these properties as <br /> being adjacent to the 20 lots of this subdivision which are under consideration <br /> for purchase with Land Bank funds. <br /> It is the consensus of the Selectmen to consult the Board of Health with <br /> respect to this regard. The matter will be deferred until the next scheduled <br /> meeting of the Board of Selectmen. <br /> Open Space Committee-Ex-officio Status-Conservation Commission Member: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to place the above topic as an <br /> agenda item of the Board of Selectmen. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Frye. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to appoint the Conservation Commission <br /> Agent as an Ex-officio member of the Mashpee Land Bank Open Space <br /> Committee. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> William Fisher-Janury 11 1999 Report <br /> Selectman Caffyn requested that a copy of Woodard and Curran's report <br /> dated January 11, 1999 be forwarded to the AFCEE as part of the public <br /> comment period. It was noted that DEP and the EPA have received formal <br /> notification from Mr. Fisher, Environmental Consultant for the Town of <br /> Mashpee. It is also important for regulatory bodies to review opinions other than <br /> the AFCEE explained Selectman Caffyn who suggested that Mr. Fisher present <br /> his report to the Senior Management Board to discuss his findings. <br />
