Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> February 17, 2000 <br /> Present: Selectman Marsters, Selectman Leveille, Selectman Taylor, <br /> Selectman Cahalane, Selectman Blythe <br /> Town Administrator Robert Whritenour <br /> Assistant Town Administrator Joyce Mason <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Marsters at 6:30 p.m. <br /> Town Hall, Conference Room #1. <br /> Budget Workshop Session—FY01 Budget: <br /> The Board of Selectmen held a workshop session for the purpose <br /> of reviewing the FY01 fiscal budget. Diane Rommelmeyer, the <br /> Town Accountant, and Finance Committee members, Jeff Arnold and <br /> James Morgan were in attendance. <br /> CIP Review: - Total CIP Budget Request: $650,589: <br /> The Selectmen reviewed and deliberated on the recommendations of the <br /> Capital Improvement Committee as set forth in the memorandum dated <br /> February 1, 2000 for fiscal year 2001 projects. <br /> Council on Aging/Leisure Services: <br /> Space Needs Study $25,000 <br /> The CEP Committee recommended that a combined study review the <br /> program needs of the Council on Aging, Leisure Services Department, <br /> and Human Service programs. Limited inadequacies are expected to <br /> be addressed and assessed in the architectural space needs study. <br /> Although the above referenced departments may not be shared,the use <br /> of one consulting firm may identify creative methods to determine <br /> space needs and future site projections. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Blythe to not recommend the <br /> Council on Aging/Leisure Services space needs study. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> The Selectmen requested that the organizational structure of the above <br /> referenced departments be further examined at this time. <br />
