Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> Monday, July 10, 2000 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Acceptance of Policy Change—Police Recruitment: <br /> The Selectmen reviewed the recommended change to the Police <br /> Recruitment,Evaluation and Selection Policy for Police Officers to give <br /> the Police exam annually instead of semi-annually. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to approve the Police <br /> Recruitment, Evaluation and Selection Policy for Police Officers <br /> permitting the annual exam as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Recommendation to Change Finance Committee to Appointed: <br /> The above referenced agenda topic was placed on hold at this time. <br /> Execution of Agreement— Sealer of Weights &Measures: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to approve and execute the <br /> Sealer of Weights and Measures Personal Services Agreement <br /> between the Town of Mashpee and James Crossen as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Request for Waiver of Fees—Boys & Girls Club: <br /> Correspondence was received from the Boys & Girls Club dated June 27, <br /> 2000 requesting the Board waive any of the fees required by the Zoning <br /> Board of Appeals for an internally lit sign on the front fagade of their <br /> building. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to approve the request of the <br /> Boys &Girls Club, and waive any fees associated to signage as <br /> presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />
