t <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> January 16, 2001 <br /> Present: Selectman Leveille, Selectman Cahalane, Selectman Taylor, <br /> Selectman Marsters, Selectman Green <br /> Town Administrator Robert Whritenour <br /> Assistant Town Administrator Joyce Mason <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Leveille at 6:30 p.m. <br /> Town Hall, Conference Room#1. <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Public Comment: <br /> None at this time. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Budget Discussion— School Committee/Finance Committee: <br /> The Board of Selectmen met with members of the School Committee and <br /> Finance Committee for the purpose of reviewing the FY02 School budget. <br /> In attendance, Superintendent of Schools Sherwood Fluery, School <br /> Business Administrator Russ McGown and School Committee members, <br /> Janice Mills, Theresa Cook, Donna Lopez, and Ben Caswell. Finance <br /> Committee members present for discussion, Dean Arden, Jeff Arnold, <br /> Fred Blythe, Carl Meredith and Maryanne Gibbs. <br /> Mr. Whritenour presented an overview of available revenues pertaining to <br /> the fiscal year 2002 budget for discussion purposes. In addition to the <br /> composition of available revenues for FY02, previous revenues were also <br /> reviewed. <br /> Although the Chapter 70, Resolution Aid has not yet been determined, an <br /> i increase.of$350,000 or 2.5% is projected for FY02. In response, the <br /> School Superintendent stated that he is respectful of the estimate put forth <br /> by the Town Administrator for Chapter 70 Aid. <br />
