8 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> February 5, 2001 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Recommendation for Promotion—Kids Klub: <br /> Correspondence was received from the Personnel Administrator dated <br /> January 30, 2001 recommending the promotion of Katherine Galaska to <br /> the position of Site Coordinator and Laura Santos as Group Leader of the <br /> Kids Klub program. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to appoint Katherine Galaska as <br /> Site Coordinator and Laura Santos as Group Leader of the Kids Klub <br /> program as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Hourly Rates—Kids Klub: <br /> Gus Frederick, Director of Leisure Services remitted correspondence to <br /> the Board in a memorandum dated January 25, 2001 relative to proposed <br /> hourly rates for the staff assigned to the ChildCare programs. Effective <br /> January 1, 2001, the minimum wage standard is set at $6.75 per hour. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to approve and adjust the hourly <br /> rates to the ChildCare Program positions as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> i <br /> Request for 111 F Benefits—Patrol Officer Paul Coronella: <br /> Chief of Police, Maurice Cooper recommended the Board approve of <br /> benefits under MGL, Chapter 41, Section 11F to Police Patrol Officer Paul <br /> Coronella for injuries sustained on duty. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to approve of 111F Benefits for <br /> Patrol Officer Paul Coronella for(3) day's due to injury on duty, and <br /> credit any sick and/or vacation days accordingly as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br />
