13 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> June 3, 2002 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Appointment of Summer Camp Counselor: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to place the above topic on the <br /> Selectmen's agenda. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to appoint Patricia Bourgault to <br /> the position of Summer Camp Counselor at Step 1. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Request to Fill Part-Time Vacancy: <br /> Marilyn Farren, Personnel Administrator was present to request the <br /> Selectmen re-fill the part-time position of Floating Administrative Clerk. <br /> • Funding exists within the budget of Personnel. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to approve and advertise for the <br /> position of part-time Floating Administrative Clerk as requested. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Two Road Betterment Abatement Requests: <br /> Two applications for abatement of street betterments were presented to the <br /> Selectmen with the recommendation of the Town Administrator for denial <br /> for reason;the properties have received a direct benefit from the roadway <br /> improvement. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to deny the application of <br /> Thomas&Dale Choate and Patrick Dempsey,Pickerel Cove Circle <br /> for abatement of street betterments as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />
