The workshop will address the Cape's <br /> pressing affordable housing needs. <br /> In fiscal year 2002, an additional surplus is expected. The focus will most <br /> likely be directed on affordable housing needs and wastewater <br /> management initiatives. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Appointment of Mini-Van Drivers: <br /> Candidates were interviewed.for two vacant part-time Mini-Van Driver <br /> positions at the Council on Aging. Recommended for appointment were <br /> Mary Webb and Ronald Cassell. Alternates as recommended were Walter <br /> Abbott, Jr. and Tom Miller. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to appoint Mary Webb and <br /> Ronald Cassell as part-time Mini-Van Drivers, and Walter Abbott,Jr. <br /> and Tom Miller as alternate drivers as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> COMMUNICATION AND CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> Massachusetts Producer Take Back Camnaisn: <br /> The Selectmen were in receipt of a proposed resolution to support <br /> Producer Take Back to help reduce the financial burden that waste <br /> disposal imposes on the local budget. Correspondence was received from <br /> the Massachusetts Producer Take Back Campaign c/o Clean Water Action <br /> dated May 24, 2002 with respect to this regard. <br /> The issue was deferred for additional input from the Assistant Director of <br /> Public Works. The matter will appear as a future agenda topic of <br /> discussion. <br />
