Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> September 23, 2002 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Ambulance Receivables: <br /> Correspondence was received from the Fire Chief dated September 5, <br /> 2002 requesting the Selectmen abate the outstanding ambulance account <br /> receivables contained in his memorandum. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to abate the following <br /> outstanding ambulance receivables as recommended; <br /> FY96 $487.39 <br /> FY97 $68,845.95 <br /> FY98 $82,254.13 <br /> FY99 $93,505.14 <br /> FY00 $105,271.07 <br /> Total Sum Abated: $350,363.68 <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. <br /> • Proclamation—John Johansen Day: <br /> Selectman Green read aloud the Proclamation declaring Monday, <br /> September 23, 2002 as John Johansen Day in the Town of Mashpee in <br /> appreciation for his dedicated service to the Conservation Commission <br /> and as an active member of the community. <br /> Mr. Johansen was present to receive the proclamation. In attendance were <br /> several members from the Conservation Commission on his behalf. <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Public Hearing—Transfer of Liquor License: <br /> Better Foods LLC, d/b/a Siena: <br /> Joyce Mason, Town Administrator opened the Public Hearing by reading <br /> aloud the notice as published on the application of Better Food, LLC, d/b/a <br /> Siena, Graham Silliman, Manager, for a transfer of Annual All Alcohol <br /> Restaurant License from MC Holding, Inc. <br /> Mr. Silliman was present with his counsel Robert Cannon to discuss the <br /> • license transfer. The site located at 138 Nathan Ellis Highway, Mashpee <br /> is the former location of the Gone Tomatoes Restaurant. <br />
