2 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> • Minutes <br /> March 28, 2005 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Cape Light Compact Status Update: <br /> Representatives from the Cape Light Compact gave a visual overview of <br /> the status of the Cape Light Compact. The information may be obtained <br /> by reviewing their website: www.capelihtg compact.com. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Execution of Special Town Meeting Warrant: <br /> The Board of Selectmen conducted final review of the Special Town <br /> Meeting warrant of Monday,May 2, 2005. In particular,Article#3, the <br /> one-time transfer of appropriated funds to allow the Police Department to <br /> purchase, repair and/or replace several items, including police building <br /> infrastructure items and essential police equipment that have fallen into <br /> disrepair or obsolescence. <br /> • The transfer of funds from the salaries account to the police expense <br /> account that is anticipated to carry surplus due to vacancies was detailed <br /> by Rodney Collins, Chief of Police. An outline of the utilization of said <br /> funds was described in a memorandum addressed to the Selectmen dated <br /> March 14, 2005. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to approve and execute the Special <br /> Town Meeting Warrant of Monday,May 2,2005 as printed. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> • <br />
