2 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> • Minutes <br /> May 2,2005 <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Town Meeting Warrant Review: (continued) <br /> Article 420: Land Bank Purchase <br /> Land located off Great Neck Road North and Old Falmouth <br /> Road, identified as Mashpee Place. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to amend Article#20 of the <br /> Annual Town Meeting Warrant to read the sum not to exceed <br /> $3,500,000 in place of$5,000,000. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Selectman Marsters abstained. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Discussion re: Development on Route 28: <br /> • Motion made by Selectman Myers to place the above topic on the <br /> Selectmen's agenda. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> The Board of Selectmen brought up the topic of new development <br /> proposed on Route 28 near The Barn establishment. Concern was voiced <br /> with regards to the 9,968 square foot project as it relates to increased <br /> traffic and potential illegal turns to exit the facility. It was agreed that a <br /> Selectmen representative would attend regulatory meetings with respect to <br /> this regard. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Myers to appoint Selectman Wayne <br /> Taylor as the Selectmen's representative to attend Planning Board <br /> and Zoning Board of Appeals meetings in regard to the new <br /> development proposed on Route 28. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />
