Minutes <br /> June 19,2006 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Public Hearing^Road Conversion—Meadowbrook: <br /> The Board of Selectmen opened the Public Hearing on the private to <br /> public road conversion of Meadowbrook Road as shown on plans entitled <br /> Easement Taking Plan of Seabrook Meadows Subdivision prepared by the <br /> BSC Group, Inc., dated November 21,2000. <br /> The Hearing notice was read aloud in accordance to posting requirements. <br /> It was disclosed the maximum betterment cost to be home by 39 property <br /> owners is$711.18. The betterment process was reviewed with the <br /> interested homeowners. <br /> The Selectmen opened the Hearing to solicit comment. <br /> Leonard O'Leary, 6 Meadowbrook Road asked the DPW Director about <br /> work related to leaching catch basins and made note of a low area <br /> • identified in the vicinity of 111 Meadowbrook Road. In response the <br /> Assistant DPW Director indicated that in all likelihood, a catch basin <br /> would be installed in the area of concern. <br /> Judith Godin, 111 Meadowbrook Road disclosed that the leaching system <br /> from her existing Title V septic is located in the subject area. It was also <br /> noted that a transformer box is also situated at the site location. It was <br /> disclosed the Town of Mashpee would communicate with the area <br /> residents prior to the commencement of the intended work. <br /> It was made known a second petition containing 50%of the homeowners <br /> is required before the date of July 10, 2006 for a Town Meeting article on <br /> the October warrant. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cook to close the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cabalane. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br />
