Boatel of Selectmen <br />Minutes <br />August 8, 2016 <br />Presentation on or000sed remediation of outdoor entertainment noise complaints, Finallv Dino's, Dino <br />Mitrokostas: (continued) <br />It was disclosed that all sound equipment would be situated in a locked separate room. The power <br />ramps would be digitally locked and an access code would be required to gain access to the sound <br />equipment room. <br />The Board of Selectmen agreed the proposal may require a one day outdoor entertainment license with <br />amplified music to allow for the testing of equipment. Mr. Mitrokostas indicated he is serious <br />regarding this matter and is malting the investment to correct the noise issues. Mr. Mitrokostas also <br />indicated he is confident in Mr. Pizzo's ability to provide sound management solutions. <br />It was recommended the applicant consider bringing testimonials to the public hearing. With the <br />sound testing, the application submittal and adherence to posting requirements, a public hearing could <br />possibly be held on August 22, 2016. <br />Town Manaeer update on Medical Marijuana Facilitv: <br />Rodney C. Collins Town Manager updated the Board of Selectmen with respect to progress associated <br />to the Medical Marijuana Facility intended to be located on Echo Road, Mashpee. A Host Community <br />Agreement was approved by the Town of Mashpee and Medical Marijuana of Massachusetts, Inc. on <br />August 26, 2015 to allow for the establishment and operation of a marijuana for medical use retail <br />dispensary in Mashpee. <br />Town Manager Collins reported that site work is ongoing. Subject to building permits, the facility is <br />anticipated to break ground soon. No hurdles are anticipated. Based on receiving a final Certificate of <br />Registration to operate a Registered Marijuana Dispensary (RMD) in calendar year 2016 (on or before <br />December 31, 2016), Medical Marijuana of Massachusetts (MMM) shall donate $20,000 to the Town <br />of Mashpee. In calendar year 2017, MMM shall donate $40,000 to the Town and in calendar year <br />2018, MMM shall donate to Mashpee $100,000 (Escalator Base) Thereafter, the Host Community <br />Donation will be adjusted annually of each calendar year by the product obtained by multiplying the <br />Escalator Base by 3%. <br />
