11 <br />Board of Selectmen <br />Minutes <br />July 11, 2016 <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Aunroval of Suecial Events Annlication for July 26, 2016, Cape Cod Networking Fundraiser: <br />(continued) <br />When asked how the funding would be collected Mr. Palmer stated he is setting up a bank account, and <br />all monies and donations would be accounted for. It was agreed the applicant would discuss the <br />requirements for this event including the general license application and related insurance <br />documentation with Christine Willander, the Administrative Assistant to the Town Manager. <br />Motion made by Selectman Sherman to approve the Special Events Application for the First <br />Annual Cape Cod Networking Fundraiser on July 26, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at 684 <br />Falmouth Road, Mashpee contingent upon the requirements of the general license application, <br />and of the DPW and Board of Health signing off on the license application. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman Cotton. <br />VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />Selectman Gottlieb, yes Selectman O'Hara, yes <br />Selectman Cotton, yes Selectman Sherman, yes Opposed, none <br />Acceptance of donation/gift of two (2) parcels of land to the Town for conservation use. Clioner Ship <br />Villaee of Mashoee Property Owners Association. Inc.: <br />Correspondence was received from Andrew McManus; Conservation Agent dated July 1 l , 2016 with <br />respect to the donation of association lands (Clipper Ship Village) to the Conservation Commission. <br />The lots intended to be donated from the Clipper Ship Village of Mashpee Property Owners <br />Association, Inc. a non-profit corporation include Lot 115 at 0 Mashpee Neck Road, Mashpee, Lot 25, <br />Lot 26, Lot 43 and Lot 77 located respectively at 44 Ships Lantern Drive, 43 Compass Drive, 5 Topsail <br />Road and 42 Ships Wheel Drive, Mashpee. <br />Mr. McManus in his memorandum indicated the Conservation Commission voted unanimously to <br />accept all of the donated parcels for conservation purposes. It was noted that most of the parcels are <br />directly connected to the Mashpee River Woodlands Conservation Land. One parcel is partially <br />connected to the Mashpee River Woodlands, but it also abuts an existing single family home. <br />Mr. McManus indicated Town Counsel has approved the Quit Claim deeds as presented <br />
