11 <br />Board of Selectmen <br />Minutes <br />April 11, 2016 <br />Anvroval of Board of Selectmen Meeting Schedule. June through November 2016: <br />The Board of Selectmen reviewed the upcoming Board of Selectmen meeting schedule from June 1, <br />2016 through December 31, 2016 as outlined in a memorandum dated April 11, 2016 from Christine <br />Willander, Administrative Assistant to the Town Manager/Board of Selectmen. All meetings will be <br />held at the Mashpee Town Hall in the Waquoit Meeting Room unless otherwise noted. <br />Motion made by Selectman Gottlieb to adopt the Board of Selectmen Meeting Schedule as <br />presented. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman Sherman. <br />VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />Selectman Cahalan, yes Selectman Sherman, yes Selectman Gottlieb, yes <br />Selectman O'Hara, yes Selectman Cotton, yes Opposed, none <br />Annroval of recommendation to Cane Cod Commission to remove the bedroom restriction from the, <br />"Agreement for Judgment". dated Mav 17.2005. between New Seabury Properties. LLC and the Cave <br />Cod Commission: <br />The Board of Selectmen reviewed the draft letter to the Cape Cod Commission requesting the bedroom <br />restriction from the "Agreement for Judgment" dated May 17, 2005, between New Seabury Properties, <br />LLC and the Cape Cod Commission be removed. The Board in their letter specifically requested the <br />restriction on page 3, paragraph (ii) which limits the number of bedrooms to 506 in the development <br />known as "Section 5" be removed. <br />It was disclosed the Town Planner has endorsed the request. It has been concluded this restriction does <br />not provide any beneficial purpose or advantage to the Town of Mashpee or. All homes and buildings <br />will be connected to the wastewater treatment facility, which has ample capacity. It was noted that <br />New Seabury is considering connecting to a Town -operated wastewater system for future use. This <br />initiative would generate additional revenue for the Town. <br />Motion made by Selectman Sherman to approve the recommendation to the Cape Cod <br />Commission to remove the bedroom restriction from the "Agreement for Judgment" dated May <br />17, 2005 as referenced. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman Cotton. <br />VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />Selectman Cahalane, yes Selectman Sherman, yes Selectman Gottlieb, yes <br />Selectman O'Hara, yes Selectman Cotton, yes Opposed, none <br />
