Cape Cod V
FIMMMMZMM
im
2M
-PO Box 81 © Denyds Port, PAA 02639
501 (e) )3) Tax Exempt Public Charity, Registered with The Attorney General of Massachusetts
April 11, 2016
Dear Mashpee Board of Selectman:
Cape Cod Veterans Inc. wishes to include our support for Freedom Rows Cape Cod. The Organization
assists Veterans, with physical disabilities and active duty personnel with combat related stress.
Freedom Rows Cape Cod brings a much needed unique physical activity to the area blessed with
beautiful waterways. Helping Veterans/Active Duty members, many disabled, to improve their physical
and psychological wellbeing, will benefit their overall physiological wellbeing. This is a great benefit for
the individual and our society. CCVI has been conducting Annual Wounded Warfighters Fishing Trips in
Falmouth. CCVI knows the benefits of these physical and psychological programs with our Veterans and
Active Duty members. Sadly, there are not many opportunities, for our disabled Veterans to engage in
meaningful activities due to cost and limited support. I would like to reiterate the unique mission of
Freedom Rows Cape Cod and what they bring to our Veteran and Active Duty families.
ftidTRi
pe C d V era s Inc.
"The wilUngness with which our young people are likely to serve in any war, no matter howjustified, shall be
directly proportional to hose they perceive the Veterans of earlier wars were treated and appreciated by their nation."
George Washington
i
