172 TOWN MEETING WARRANT BARNSTABLE, SS. To either of the Constables of the Town of Mashpee, GREETINGS: In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachu- setts you are directed to notify and summons the in- habitants of the Town of Mashpee qualified to vote in elections to meet at the Town Hall on Monday the 3rd day of March next at eight o'clock A. M. for the follow- ing purposes. To act on the articles contained in the following warrant. Also to meet at the Town Hall on ' March 3rd, the same day (the polls to be open from 1 o'clock P. M. and may close at five o'clock P. M.) to bring in their votes for the election of the Town Officers all on one ballot, under the Australian Ballot System as adopted by the Town. Article 1. To choose all other necessary Town Offi- cers which are not elected under the Australian Ballot System. Recommended by Finance Committee. Article 2. To see if the Town will vote to accept the Town Officers' Reports. t Recommended by Finance Committee. Voted to accept Town Reports Article 3. To see if the Town will vote to instruct the Highway Surveyor and the Selectmen to co-operate and contract with the Public Works Division of High- ways for the general repairs of its roads under the pro- visions of Chapter 81, of the General Laws, and to raise and appropriate the sum of $1,950 for the* same. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Town Treasurer with the approval of the Selectmen, 1 to borrow money from time to time in anticipation of the revenue of the Financial Year, beginning in Janu- ary 1, 1941 and to issue a Note or Notes therefor pay- able in one year and to renew such notes or note that may be given for a period of one year or less. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Town Treasurer with the. approval of the Selectmen to extend for a period, or periods not exceeding or in aggregate six months beyond the maximum term pro- vided by law, any debt or debts incurred under this vote to be paid from the revenue of the Financial Year be- ginning January 1, 1941 under the provisions of Chap- , ter 25 of the Acts of 1938. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Treasurer with the approval of the Selectmen to bor- row money for ordinary maintenance expenses and revenue loans, in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 49 Acts of 1933, as amended or take any other action thereon.
