<br />Article 7. To see if the Town will assume liability in the manner
<br />provided by Section 29 of Chapter 9 of the General Laws, as recently amended by
<br />Chapter 5, Act of 1955 for all damages that may be incurred by work to be per-
<br />formed by the Department of Public Works of Massachusetts for the improvement,
<br />development, maintenance and protection of tidal and non -tidal rivers and stre-
<br />ams and harbors,tidewaters, foreshores and shores along a public beach in accor
<br />dance with Section XI of Chapter 91 of the General Laws, and authorize the Sel-
<br />ectmen to excuts and deliver a bond of indemnity therefor to the Commonwealth.

<br />Article 9. To see if the Town will vote to transfer the sum of $5,696.00
<br />from the Overlay Account to the Reserve Fund, or take any other action thereon.

<br />Article 10. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the
<br />sum of $1,500 to be used in conjuction with highway construction under Chapter
<br />90, representing the Town's share, and to transfer from available funds in the
<br />Treasury, the sum of 3,000, representing the State and County share. This ,
<br />amount, when reimbursed to be returned to surplus revenue, or take any other
<br />action theron. Submitted by Highway Department.
<br />Action: Motion made and seconded that Article be accepted as read. Unan
<br />imously voted.
<br />Article 11. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the
<br />sum of $5,200 to be expended in conjunction with highway construction under
<br />Chapter 90, representing the Town's share and to transfer from available funds
<br />in the Treasury, the sum of $15,600 representing the State and County share,
<br />these monies to be used on Great Neck and Great Oak Roads. This amount, when
<br />reimbursed, to be returned to surplus revenue, or take any other action thereon

<br />Article 12. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the
<br />sum of $3,000 to meet the Town's share of the cost of Chapter 81, and to trans-
<br />fer from Available funds in the Treasury, the sum of $11,000 to meet the State'
<br />share of,the cost of the work. This amount, when reimbursed, to be returned to
<br />surplus revenue, or take any other action thereon. Submitted by Highway Dept.

<br />Article 13. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the
<br />sum of $2,300 for the purchase of radios for communication for the Highway
<br />Department, 4,mobile units in 4 trucks and a base station to be located at
<br />theHighway Garage, or take any other action thereon. Submitted by Highway Dept
<br />Action: Motion made and seconded that article 13 be indefinitely post-
<br />poned. Unanimously voted.
<br />Article 14. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriatecor
<br />take from available funds, the sum of $5,000 and to transfer from the Road
<br />Department, or $6.,000 ffor the purchases of a dump truck for the Highway
<br />Department, or take any other acttion thereon, Submitted by Highway
<br />Department.
<br />Action: Amended to read: To see if the Town will vote to raise and
<br />'appropriate the sum of $5,000 and to transfer from the Road Machinery
<br />Account $6,000 forthe purchase of a dump truck forthe Highway Lepartment
<br />with the present Ford Dump Truck to be used in trade.

<br />Article 15. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate
<br />the sum of $22,500 to construct an addition to the Highway Garage, or
<br />to ke any other action thereon. Submitted by Highway Lepartment.

<br />postponed. Unanimously voted.

<br />the sum of $2,500 to equip the addition, or take any other action there.
