<br />Article 17. To see if the Town will vote to raise and
<br />appropriate or take from available funds the sum of $352.00 to pay
<br />a 1971 unpaid bill from.tthe Teaticket Auto Body for repairs to a
<br />damaged cruiser, Submitted by Police Dept.
<br />Action: Motion made and seconded to raise •and 'appropriate the
<br />sum of $352.00-- 116 for. Unanimously voted.
<br />Article 18. To see if the Town will vote to amend Section 7
<br />of Article 12 of Chapter 11 of the By-laws of the Town of Mashpee
<br />concerning the USE, CARE, REGULATION AND CONTROL OF PUBLIC BEACHES
<br />to change the penalty from twenty ($20.001 dollars to Fifty (50.00)
<br />dollars. Submitted by Police Department.

<br />Article 19. To see if the Town will vote to raise and
<br />appropriate or take from available funds the sum of Fifteen Hundred
<br />($1500.00) dollars for reseeding quahogs and oysters, or take any
<br />other action thereon. Submitted by the Shellfish Warden.
<br />Action: Motion made and seconded Article 19 to raise and
<br />appropriate($1500.00). Unanimously voted:
<br />Article 20. To see if the Town will vote to create a
<br />special unpaid committee to be known as a Regional School District
<br />Planning Committee, to consist of three members, including a member
<br />of the School Committee, to be appointed by the Moderator in
<br />accordance with the provisions of Section 14 of Chapter 71 of the
<br />General Laws as amended and that there be raised and appropriated
<br />for the use of said Committee the sum of Two Hundred ($00.00)
<br />dollars, or take any other action thereon, Submitted by School
<br />Committee.

<br />three (3) "Portable School Classrooms", furnish and tie into the
<br />existing Samuel G. Davis School utilities. Submitted by Mashpee
<br />School Committee.
<br />Action: Amended to reads To see if the Town will vote to raise
<br />and appropriate the sum of $21,666 to lease Three (3) "Portable
<br />School Classrooms" for the first contract year and an additional
<br />$1,034.00 for furnishings and utility connections.
<br />Motion made and seconded Article 22 be accepted as amended.

<br />Article 23. To see if the Town will vote to transfer the
<br />care, custody, management and control,to the Conservation Commission
<br />for all purposes included in Chapter 40, "ection 80, as it now
<br />reads or may hereafter be amended, all property or property easements
<br />within the following defined areas, now owned or hereafter acquired
<br />by the Town, to hold and adminster for Conservation purposes,
<br />including hunting, fishing and shellfishing, Marsh and wetlands
<br />bordering and adjacent to Flat Pond, Salt Pond, Sagelot Creek,
<br />Sagelot Pond, Waquoit Bay, Great River, Jehu's Pond, Abigail's
<br />Brook, Little River, Childs River, :.Hamblin's Pond, Dutchman's Brook,
<br />Red Brook,, Seconset Channel, Popponesset Bay Popponesset Creek,
<br />Mashpee River, Mashpee Pond, Santuit River, Lantuit Pond, Quaker
<br />Run, Ockway Pond, Ann's Cove, Gould's Spring, Ashumet Pond, John's
<br />Pond, Moody Pond, Wakeby Pond, Quashnet River, Amos Pond, Martha's Pond,
<br />Cattaquin Pond. (This article has been prepared to coincide with the
<br />Town Master Plan and replaces Article 36 of the 1963 Annual Town
<br />Meeting which has been declared invaled by the Town Counsel by
<br />reason of incorrect citing of the General Laws.) Submitted by
<br />the Conservation Commission. ,
