Annual 2 31 March 6, 1972 Article 24. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or take from available funds the sum of Ten Thousand ($10,000) dollars to be added to the Conservation Fund, or take any other action thereon. Submitted by the Conservation Commission. Action: Amended to read: To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of Five Thousand ($5,000) dollars to be added to the Conservation Fund, or take any other action thereon. Motion made and seconded Article 24 be accepted as amended. A unanimous vote. Article 25. To see if the Town will vote to transfer to the custody and control of the Conservation Commission for all purposes included in Chapter 40, Section 8C as it now reads or may hereafter be amended, a parcel of land now owned by the Town of Mashpee and shown on Assessors Map #16 as Lot #1, Containing 10.2 acres and recorded in Barnstable County Deeds in bool 496, Page 46, or take any other action thereon. Submitted by the eonservation 9ommittee. Action: Moved and seconded that Article 25 be accepted as read. Unanimouslv voted. Article 26. To see if the Town will vote to accept Section 21, Chapter 45 of the General Laws as amended by Section 4, Chapter 893, Acts of 1971, designating the Conservation Commission as appointing authority for the Town Forest Commission, or take any other action thereon. Submitted by the Conservation Commission. Action: Moved and seconded that Article 26 be accepted as read. A unanimous vote. Article 27. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or take from available funds the sum of Two Hundred Fifty ($250.001 dollars to be used as an expense account for the Town Forest Committee, or take any other action thereon. To see if the Town will vote to establish as a Town forest, a parcel of land now owned by the Town of Mashpee, said parcel being shown on the Assessors Map - #44 as Lot 46, containing 210 Acres, being the same premises described in a deed recorded in Barnstabl CCounty Deeds Book 664)Pagge 236 or take any other action thereon.
