Annual 2 31 <br />March 6, 1972 <br />Article 24. To see if the Town will vote to raise and <br />appropriate or take from available funds the sum of Ten Thousand <br />($10,000) dollars to be added to the Conservation Fund, or take any <br />other action thereon. Submitted by the Conservation Commission. <br />Action: Amended to read: To see if the Town will vote to <br />raise and appropriate the sum of Five Thousand ($5,000) dollars to <br />be added to the Conservation Fund, or take any other action thereon. <br />Motion made and seconded Article 24 be accepted as amended. A <br />unanimous vote. <br />Article 25. To see if the Town will vote to transfer to the <br />custody and control of the Conservation Commission for all purposes <br />included in Chapter 40, Section 8C as it now reads or may hereafter <br />be amended, a parcel of land now owned by the Town of Mashpee <br />and shown on Assessors Map #16 as Lot #1, Containing 10.2 acres and <br />recorded in Barnstable County Deeds in bool 496, Page 46, or take <br />any other action thereon. Submitted by the eonservation 9ommittee. <br />Action: Moved and seconded that Article 25 be accepted as read. <br />Unanimouslv voted. <br />Article 26. To see if the Town will vote to accept Section <br />21, Chapter 45 of the General Laws as amended by Section 4, Chapter <br />893, Acts of 1971, designating the Conservation Commission as appointing <br />authority for the Town Forest Commission, or take any other action <br />thereon. Submitted by the Conservation Commission. <br />Action: Moved and seconded that Article 26 be accepted as read. <br />A unanimous vote. <br />Article 27. To see if the Town will vote to raise and <br />appropriate or take from available funds the sum of Two Hundred <br />Fifty ($250.001 dollars to be used as an expense account for the <br />Town Forest Committee, or take any other action thereon. <br />Submitted by the Conservation Commission. <br />Action:. Motion made and seconded to raise and appropriate <br />the sum of X250.00. A unanimous vote. <br />Article 28. To see if the Town will vote to establish as <br />a Town forest, a parcel of land now owned by the Town of Mashpee, <br />said parcel being shown on the Assessors Map - <br />#44 as Lot 46, containing <br />210 Acres, being the same premises described in a deed recorded in <br />Barnstabl CCounty Deeds Book 664)Pagge 236 or take any other action <br />thereon.
