Davis School or take any other action thereon. Action: Motion duly made and seconded.to raise and appropriate the sum of $8,600.00. A.unanimous vote. Article 9. To see if the Town will -vote to increase the Treasurer's salary from $1$3.75 monthly to $267.00 monthly or take any other action thereon Action: Motion duly made and seconded to accept the article as read. 51 for -1$ opposed. The vote carried. Article 10. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from the Collector -Treasurer Wage Account the sum of $590.00 to the Treasurer's Salary Account to cover the authorized increase in the Treasurer's salary for the period begining June 1st to December 31, 1972, or take any other action thereon. Action: Motion duly made and seconded to accept article as read. Vote passed. Article 11. To see if the Collector's salary from $2'x5.66 any other action thereon. Action: Motion duly made read. 41 for - 29 opposed. Vote Town will vote to increase the Tax per month to $316.33 per month or take and seconded to accept article as carried. Article 12. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from the Collector -Treasurer Wage Account the sum of $295.00 to the Tax Collector's Salary Account to cover authorized salary increase from June 1 to December 31,1972, or take any other action thereon. Action: Moti-,n duly made and seconded to accept article as read. Vote carried. Article 13• To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the following sums of money for unpaid bills, or take any other action thereon: Franklin & Perkins Town Hall Maintenance $13.00 John S. Cheever Co. Fire Dept. 23.25 Suburban Gas Co. Highway Dept. 115.07 Rusty's Inc. Town Hall Maintenance 27.51 Action: Motion duly made and seconded to raise arnd'•'appropriate the sums. A unanimous vote. Article 14• To see if the Town will authorize the Selectmen to lease forty (40) acres of town -owned land lyi ng adjacent to and southwest of the Town Hall and Ball Field to.the Barnstable County Agricultural Society, In.c., for a ten (10) year period, said term commencing as soon+ as possible forthe consideration of five hundred dollars (500.00) annually. Action:. Motion duly made and seconded to''.accept article as read. 47 for - 2$ opposed. Vote carried. Article 15• To see if the Town will vote to amend Chapter _ Article �,_ Building Code regulations by adding to Section 1: -Par. 5 the following: e. "Ten inch thick poured concrete wall shallnot require a footing, except. on filled land, where an eight inch thick and eighteen inch wide footing shall be required." Action: Motion duly made and seconded to amend the article to read: e. "Ten inch thick poured concrete wall shall not recuire a footing, except on filled land, where on eight inch thick and eighteen grinch wide footing shall be required consisting of a one-two and a half mixture of washed materials." Motion duly made and seconded to accept article as amended. A. unanimous vote.
