283 M 103rd. ANNUAL TOWN MEETIN WARRANT (contd) ARTICLE 18. To see if the Town will vote to establish a Water Commission composed of not less than eight members, appointed by the Selectmen, to study the feasibility, design, construction, and operation of a municipal water supply system and to report to the Town its findings within eighteen months. Submitted by Planning Board. ACTION: Motion made and seconded Article 18 be accepted as read. So Voted. ARTICLE 19. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Planning Board to appoint a consulting engineer with the approval of the Personnel Board._ Submitted by Planning Board. ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article 19 to read: To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Planning Board to appoint a consulting engineer in accordance with 70 Salary Administration Plan. So Voted, as amended. ARTICLE 20. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $5,120 to pay said consulting engineer. Submitted by Planning Board. ACTION: Motion made and seconded amount of $5,120 be raised and appropriated. So Voted. ARTICLE 21. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or to take from available funds the sum of $250 for the 1974-75 fiscal year to cover clerical and office expenses of the above noted commis- sion. Submitted by Planning Board. ACTION: Motion made and seconded to raise and appropriate $250.00. So Voted. ARTICLE 22. To see if the Town of Mashpee.will vote to raise and appropriate or take from available funds the sum of $3,000 as provided in Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40, Section 5, Clause 39, to help defray expenses in providing facilities for training, rehabili- tation and employment:of mentally retarded and handicapped residents of the Town of Mashpee, employed at Vocational Service Center of Cape Cod, Inc., Barnstable, Massachusetts or to do anything in relation thereto; said funds to be spent under the direction of the Selectmen. Submitted by Vocational Service Center of Cape Cod, Inc. ACTION: Motion moved and seconded Article 22 to be tabled. So Voted. ARTICLE 23. To see if the Town will raise and appropriate or take from available funds the sum of $1,053 covering the cost of assessment for services rendered to citizens of the Town by the Cape Cod Mental Health Association for a tvelve month period or take any other action thereon. Submitted by Cape Cod Mental Health Association. ACTION: Moved and seconded to take from available funds the sum of 1,053. SO VOTED for sum of $1,053.00. . ARTICLE 24. To see if the Town will vote to transfer the sum of $18,640 from the proceeds received from the State under the provisions 'of Section 22, Chapter 1140, Acts of 1973, for the construction of South Sandwich Road and Old Barnstable Road and any other work permitted under the provisions of said act on such roads within the Town as may be approved by the Board of Selectmen and the Massachusetts Department of Public Works and act Fully thereon. Submitted by Highway Department. ACTION: Motion made and Seconded to amend article to read: To see if the Town will vote to transfer the sum of $18,640 from the proceeds received from the State under the provisions of Section 20, Chapter 1140, Acts of 1973, for the construction of Great Neck Road and any other work permitted under the provisions of said act on such roads within the Town as may be approved by the Board of Selectmen and the Mass- achusetts Dept. of Public Works, and act fully thereon.
