ANNUAL TOWN MEETING WARRANT (contd) ARTICLE 25:...:To-.seE� if the Town will vote to raise and approriate or transfer from available funds in the Treasury the sum of �5,200.00 which may be used for State Aid Construction in conjunction with any available State and County funds and in addition to transfer from available funds in the Treasury the sum of $26,600 to meet the State and County's Share of the cost of this work, reimbursement received therefrom to be returned to available funds. ACTION: Motion made and Seconded to amend article to read: To see if' the 'town will vote to transfer from available funds, in the Treasury the sum of $5,200 which may be used for State Aid Construction in conjunction with any available State and County funds and in addition to transfer from available funds in the Treasury the sum of $26,600 to meet the State & County's share of the cost of this work, reimburse- ment received therefrom to be returned to available funds, such funds to be utilized for completion of Great Neck Road. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $5,700 to be expended in conjunction with highway construction under Capter 9G, representing the Town's share and to transfer from available funds in the Treasury, the sum of $17,100Grepresenting the State and County's share, these monies to be used on Great Oak Road and Great Neck Road. This amount, when reimbursed, to be returned to Surplus Revenue, or take any other action thereon. Submitted by Highway Dept. ACTION: Motion made and seconded for article to be accepted as read. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or take from available funds the sum of $2,000 and to transfer from the Road Machinery Acct. $3,000 for the purchase of a roadside mower or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend article to read: Transfer from Road Machinery Acdt. the sum of $5,000 for the purchase of road- side mower or take any other action thereon. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or take from available funds the sum of $15,000 and to transfer from the Road Machinery Account $10,000 for the pu-chase of two snow plow dump trucks or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Notion made and seconded to Amend to read: To take from available funds the sum ofy�20,000 and to transfer from the Road Machinery Acct. the sum of 55,000 for 2 snowplow dump trucks. 7$ for 51 opposed. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or take from available funds the sum of $3,000.00 and to transfer from the Road Machinery Account $5,000 these monies to be used for ' rental of a roadside sweeper, or take any other action thereon. Sub- mitted by Highway Department. ACTION: Motion made and seconded Article 29 be tabled. So Voted. ARTICLE 30. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Highway Department to hire two -full time skilled laborers to work for the Highway Dept., the salary to be left to the discretion of the Personnel Board or take any other action thereon.
