To see if the Town will vote to increase the Board of <br />Health members' salaries from $386 per year to 41,500 per year and the <br />Health Agent's Salary from $1,398 to $2,800 per year or take anl! other <br />action thereon. Submitted by Board of Health. <br />AC ION: Moved and seconded to table Article 45. Unanimously voted. <br />ARTICLE 46. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the <br />sum of $152 for the use of Greenhead Fly Control during the summer <br />months of 1974 or take any other action thereon. Submitted by Tree <br />Warden. <br />ACTION: Moved and seconded Article 46 be tabled. Unanimously voted. <br />293 <br />ARTICLE 47. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the <br />sum of $6,000 for Insect Pest Control and $500 for Dutch Elm Disease <br />Control in accordance with Section 14, Chapter 132, General Laws of <br />Massachusetts or take any other action thereon. Submitted by Tree Warden. <br />ACTION: Moved and seconded that Article 47 be tabled. So Voted. <br />ARTICLE 48. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the <br />sum of $5,700 for the purchase of a Ton and One -Half Stake Body Truck <br />and Miscellaneous Equipment to haul the Town Sprayer or take any other <br />action thereon. Submitted by Tree Warden. <br />ACTION: Moved and seconded that Article 48 be tabled. So Voted. <br />ARTICLE 49. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the <br />sum of $2,285 for a riding mower for Douglas B. Pocknett Field. Submitted <br />by Park and Recreation Committee. <br />ACTION: Moved and seconded that Article 49 be tabled. So Voted. <br />ARTICLE 50. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the <br />sum of $1,200 for resurfacing of the baseball diamond at the Douglas <br />B. Pocknett Field. Submitted by the Park and Recreation Committee. <br />ACTION: Moved and seconded that Article 5G be tabled. So voted. <br />ARTICLE 51. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate <br />the sum of $300 for the Mashpee Women's Softball League entry fee. <br />Submitted by Mashpee Women's Softball Team. <br />ACTION: Moved and seconded that Article 51 be tabled. So Voted. <br />ARTICLE 52. To see if the Town of Mashpee will vote to transfer the <br />deed and title of the Attaquin Park to the Mashpee Wampanoag Indian <br />Tribal Council as Indian lands in common for such purposes as the tribal <br />council may deem essential for such purposes as application for Indian <br />park and recreational development grants, State and Federal recognition <br />as well as a permanent site for ceremonial affairs, and to stipulate <br />the conditions under which said County shall hold deed. Submitted by <br />'Mashpee Wampanoag Indian Tribal Council. <br />ACTION: Moved and seconded that Article 52 be tabled. So voted. (The <br />Town cannot vote to transfer a park or beach). <br />ARTICLE 53. To see if the Tov,n will vote to raise and appropriate or <br />transfer from the revenue Sharing Account the sum of $4,098 for expenses <br />relative to the Mashpee Indian Museum operation or take any other action <br />thereon. Submitted by Mashpee Historial Commission. <br />ACTION: Moved and seconded that Article 53 be tabled. So voted. <br />
