The said Commission shall hold its first meeting at the Town Hall <br />at eight o'clock in the eveing on the Third Tuesday of the month <br />following approval of this by-law by the Attorney General, and said <br />meeting shall be for organizational purposes and to elect such permanent <br />officers as they shall deem necessary for the conduct of their business. <br />The said first meeting shall be presided over by the representatives <br />of the Planning Board, or alternatively by a representative of the <br />Town bodies or citizens associations in the order listed herein. <br />The members of this Commission shall serve without compensation. <br />ACTION: Moved and seconded that Article 59 be tabled. So voted. <br />ARTICLE 60. To see if the Town will vote that in order to promote <br />and provide an orderly opportunity for the Comprehensive Plan Review <br />Commission to serve its purpose as provided for in the immediately <br />preceding vote insofar as its functions designated therein are con- <br />cerned, Section 9 of the Zoning By -Law be and is hereby amended by <br />adding thereto the following Section 9.43: <br />SUSPENSION OF SUB -DIVISION PLAN APPROVALS <br />9.43 Notwithstanding anything contained in this By'Law to the contrary <br />no plans for subdivision requiring Planning Board approval shall be <br />received or approved by the Planning Board prior to Mai, 31, 1975: <br />Provided, however, that this bub -section shall not apply to state or <br />federally subsidized low or moderate income housing developments; and <br />'provided that this sub -section shall not apply to business, commercial, <br />or industrial developments. <br />ACTION: Illegal Article. No Action. <br />ARTICLE 61. To see if the Town will vote to prohibit motor boats <br />with internal combustion engines in excess of ten horsepower within <br />the confines of Santuit Pond in Mashpee, MA, and violation of this <br />by-law shall be punishable by a fine of up to $50.00. <br />ACTION: Moved and seconded that Article 61 be tabled. So voted. <br />Article 62. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Board of <br />Selectmen to appoint a Study Committee consisting of one member from <br />the Planning Board, Highway Department, School Committee, Historical <br />Committee, Park and Recreation, to plan bicycle trails within7,the Town <br />of Mashpee. <br />ACTION: Moved and seconded that Article 62 be accepted as read. So <br />Voted. <br />ARTICLE 63. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the <br />sum of $2,000 for the crafting of preliminary plans for the de,.elop- <br />ment of bicycle trails in the Town of Mashpee or take any other action <br />thereon. Submitted by Conservation Committee. <br />' ACTION: Moved and seconded that Article 63 be tabled. So Voted. <br />ARTICLE 61,. To see if the Town will vote to approve and adopt the <br />following by-laws. <br />1. The purpose of this by-law is to protect the foreshores and wetlands <br />of the Town of Mashpee by controlling activities deemed to have a <br />significant effect upon wetland values, including but not limited to <br />the following: public or private water supply, ground water, flood <br />control, storm damage, water pollution, fisheries, shellfish, wildlife, <br />297 <br />Y� <br />103rd.
