311 -2- WARRANT FOR SPECIAL TOWN MEETING June 24, 1974 ARTICLE 7. To see if the Town will vote to take from available funds or raise and appropriate the sum of $400.00 (four hundred dollars), to be transferred to the Highway Department Wage Account or take any other action thereon. Submitted by Highway Department.. Not Recommended until supporting information i5 furnished. ACTION: Moved and seconded to transfer available funds $400. Motion carried. ARTICLE 8. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or take from available funds the sum of $2,272.00 for payment of overdue bills and to complete this year's functions; this money to be put into the Highway Expense Account or take any other action thereon. Submitted by Highway bepartment. Not Recommended until supportinginformation is furnished. ACTION: Amended to transfer from available funds the sum of $2,717. Motion carried. ARTICLE 9. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds the sum of $1,500.00 to be applied to the Fire Department Wage Account for the balance of the fiscal year ending June 30, 1974, or take any other action thereon. Submitted by Fire Department. Not Recommended until supporting information is furnished. ACTION: Amended to transfer from available funds the sum of $1,800. Motioncarried. ARTICLE 10. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds the sum of $3,750.00 to be applied to the Fire Department Expense Account for the balance of the fiscal year ending June 30, 1974, or take any other action 'thereon. Submitted by Fire Department. Not recommended until supporting information is furnished. ACTION: Moved and seconded to transfer from available funds the sum of $3,750.Motioncarried. ARTICLE 11. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds the sum of $2,753.70, these monies to be used for payment of surveying services rendered for the municipal site or take any other action thereon. Submitted by the Municipal Building Site and Needs Committee. Not recommended until supporting information is furnished. ACTION: Amended to transfer from available funds $2,800. ARTICLE 12. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from available funds the sum of $630.00 to be applied to the Assessors Wage Account for the balance of the fiscal year, ending June 30, 1974, or take any other action thereon. Submitted by Assessors. Recommended to transfer $630.00 from available funds. ACTION: Moved and seconded to transfer $630.00 from available funds. So voted. ARTICLE 13. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate 'or transfer from available funds the following amounts for unpaid bills for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1974, or take any other action thereon. New England Tel. & Tel. Co. $ 9.00 New Bedford Gas & Edison Light Co. 24.95 New Seabury House & Garden 22.01 Submitted by Historical Commission. ACTION: Moved and seconded to transfer from available funds the sum of $55.96 for the following unpaid bills: New England -9.00, New Bedford G.&E. 24.95. So voted.
