To see if the Town will vote to add $10,000 to the <br />Stabilization Fund, said sum to be raised and appropriated or take any <br />other action thereon. <br />' ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article 12 to read: <br />To see if the Town will vote to add $10,000 to the Stabilization <br />Fund, said sum to be transferred from the Revenue Sharing Account. <br />Motion made and seconded to accept Article 12 as amended. So voted. <br />Article 13. To see if the Town will vote to amend Article 1 - <br />Section 1 (A) of the Town By -Laws to provide that the Annual Town <br />Meeting shall be held on the first Monday in April at 7:00 o'clock <br />p.m. each year and to further provide that the election of Town <br />Officers shall be held on the Wednesday immediately preceding. <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article 13 to read: <br />To see if the Town will vote to amend Article 1 - Section 1 (A) of the <br />Town By -Laws to provide that the Annual Town Meeting shall be held on <br />the first Monday in May at 7:00 o'clock p.m. each year and to further <br />provide that the election of tYb Town Officers shall be held on the <br />immediate following Saturday. Motion made and seconded to accept Article <br />13 as amended. So voted. <br />Article 14. To see if the Town will vote to have the members of <br />the Finance Committee elected at the annual election of Town Officers. <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article 14 to read: <br />To see if the Town will vote to have the members of the Finance Committee <br />elected by Australian Ballot at the annual election of Town Officers <br />' commending with the Annual Election of 1976. Motion made and seconded <br />to accept Article 14 as amended. Motion carried 199 to 108. A vote. <br />Article 15. T@ see if the To4m will vote to petition the General <br />Court for the Town to pay the sum of $600.00 as a moral obligation of the <br />Town for three(3) police cruisers delivered the latter part of January <br />1975 or take any other action thereon. <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded to accept Article 15 as read. <br />Motion was defeated. <br />Article 16. Shall the Town vote to have a by-law to provide for <br />the appointment by the Selectmen of a Town Constable for a term of one <br />(1) year. <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded Article 16 be amended to read: <br />Shall the Town vote to have a by-law to provide for the appointment by <br />Seelctmen of a Town Constableffor a term of one (1) year commencing <br />in 1976. Motion made and seconded to accept Article 16 as amended. So <br />voted. <br />Article 17. To see if the Town will vote to have its Selectment <br />appoint the Harbor Master. Term of office to be one(1) year. <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article 17 to read: <br />Commencing in 1976, the Selectmen shall apoint the Harbor Master for a <br />term of one (1) year. The Personnel Board shall establish job qualifi- <br />cations and make their recommendations to the Board of Selectmen. <br />Motion duly made and seconded to accept Article 17 as amended. So voted. <br />Article 18. To see whether the Town will vote to enact the following By-law: <br />Whoever places, throws, deposits or discharges, or causes to be placed, thrown, <br />deposited, or discharged, any trash, refuse, rubbish, rubber tires, or debris or any <br />other materials of any kind upon land of another without permission of the owner of <br />the person in charge thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not more than fifty dollars. <br />
