1 TOWN OF MASHPEE SPECIAL TOWN!MEETING WARRANT "i'March 31, 1976 Barnstable, SS: To the Constable of the Town of Mashpee GREETINGS: 341' In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby directed to notify 57nd summons the inhabitants of the Town of Mashpee who are gxalified to vote in the elections to meet at the Town Hall on March 31, 1976, at seven o'closk P.M. (7:00 p.m.) to xt on the Articles contained in the following Warrant. t The house was polled at one hundred nineteen (119). A quorum present, Kevin D. O'Connell, Acting Moderator, due to the resignation of Peter M. Lawrence, opened the meeting at 7:25 p.m. A moment of silent prayer was observed in memory of Mr. Gordon L. Green, who died on March 22, 1976. Mr. Green as an Assessor for the Town of Mashpee for fifteen years. A Article 1. To see if the Town will vote to take from available funds the sum of $1,500.00 to be applied to the Selectmen's Expense Account. Action: Moved and seconded to take from available funds the sum of $1,100 to be applied to the Selectmen's Expense Account. AVote. Article 2. To see if the Town will vote to take from available funds the sum of $350.00 to be applied to the Executive Secretary's Expense Account. Action: Moved and seconded to take from available funds the sum of $350.00 to be applied to the Executive Secretary's Expense Account. A vote. Article 3. To see if the Town will vote to take from available funds the sum of $4,400.00 to be applied to the Street Lights Account to cover the increased rates of street lights. Action: Moved and seconded to take from available funds the sum of $3,300.00 to be applied to the Street Lights Acc6unt. A vote. Article 4. To see if the Town will vote to transfer #3,270.91, plus interest, from the Post War Rehabilitation Account to the General Treasury and close this account. Action: Moved and seconded to accept Article 4 as read. A vote. Article 5. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from the General Treasury the sum of $3,270.91, plus interest, to the (bnservation Fund, or take any other action thereon. Action: Moved and seconded to transfer from available funds the sum of $3,270.91, plus interest, to the Conservation Fund. A vote. Article 6: To see if the Town will vote to take from available funds the sum of $1,000.00 for architectural services for plans and specifications for renovations of Town Hall Offices. A vote. Action: Moved and seconded to take from available funds the sum of $1,000.00 for Architectural Services for plans and specifications for renovations of Town Hall Offices. A vote. Article 7. To see if the Town will vote to take from available funds the sum of $3,143.17 to pay "unpaid wages" and Holiday pay for the period of Julyl, 1975, through January 31, 1976, to the following firefighters: William Chase $236.03 Donald Duarte 698.38 Howland Evora 245.41 Teddy Hendricks 493.23 Warren Hicks 210.03 James Medeiros 419.14 James Volpe 540.20 Gregory Willis 300.66 or take any other action thereon.
