<br />ACTION: Motion moved and seconded to raise and appropriate $2,800.00 to
<br />put the Town Payroll on Automated Payroll Services. Vote carried.
<br />Article 6. To see if the Town will vote to fix the salaries of the following
<br />elected officers as provided in Section 108, Chapter 41 of the General Laws for the
<br />period of July 1, 1976, to June 30, 1977.
<br />Motion made and seconded to accept Article 6 as amended. Vote carried
<br />Article 7. To see if the Town will assume liability in the manner provided
<br />by Section 29 of Chapter 91 of the General Laws as recently amended by Chapter 5,
<br />Acts of 1955 for all damages thatmmy be incurred by work to be performed by the
<br />Department of Public Works of Massachusetts for the improvement, development,
<br />maintenance and protection of tidal and non -tidal rivers and streams and harbors,
<br />tide -waters, foreshores and shores along a public beach in accordance with Section
<br />XI of Chapter 91 of the General Laws, and authorize the Selectmen to execute and
<br />deliver a bond of indemnity therefor to the Commonwealth. Submitted by the Board of
<br />Selectmen.

<br />of money as will be necessary to defray the Town's expense for the ensuing year.
