Special Tom Meeting February 9, 1977 37 3 TOWN OF MASHPEE SPECIAL TOWN MEETING WARRANT February 9, 1977 THE COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS Barnstable, ss: To the Constable of the Town of Mashpee Greetings: In the name of the Commonwealthof Massachusetts, you are hereby directed to notify;and summons the inhabitants of the Town of Mashpee, ' who are,qualified to vote in the elections, to meet at Queen of All Saints Church, Great Neck Road, Mashpee, on Wednesday, February 9, 1977, at seven o'clock, p.m., for the following purposes: To act on the Articles contained in the following Warrant: The meeting opened at 7:15 p.m. The Moderator was Mr. Frank M. Leonardi. There was a quorum present. A moment of silence was observed in memory of Barbara L. Pocknett, Accountant for the Town of Mashpee. Tellers were: Mary M Iter, Eleanor Thaxton, Marian Folkins, Alexis Hanson. ARTICLE 1. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from Anti - recession Fiscal Assistance Title II funds the following sums to pay Fiscal Year 1975/76 unpaid bills: ACTION: It was moved and seconded to accept the article as read. Unanimously voted. Article 1 carried. ARTICLE 2. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from the Revenue Sharing Account the sum of $30,191.62 to meet the adjusted obligation of the new contract between the Town of Mashpee and the Mashpee Police Employees Association, Inc. for the 21scal Year July 1, 1976 to June 30, 19779 or take any other action thereon. SUBMITTED BY THE BOARD OF SELECTMEN RECOMMENDED BY THE FINANCE COMMITTEE ACTION: Moved and seconded to accept Article 2 as read. Article carried. ARTICLE 3. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from the Anti -recession Fiscal Assistance Title II Funds the sum of$1,200.00 to the Mbintenance Unit Expense Account, or take any other action thereon. SUBMITTED BY THE BOARD OF SELECTMEN ' RECOMMENDED BY THE FINANCE COMMITTEE ABTION:Moved and seconded to accept article as read. Article 3 is carried. Article 4. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from the Anti -recession Fiscal Assistance Title II funds the sum of $400.00 to the Patrolling Waterways Account, or take any other action thereon.
