469 Annual Town Meeting -14- May 7, 1979 ACTION on ARTICLE 30: Motion made and seconded that the Town vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $6,317.00 for the purchase of a new four-wheel drive pick-up truck with the 1974 Dodge four-wheel drive pick-up truck to be used as a trade-in. ARTICLE 33. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appro- priate the sum of $7,726.53 (Grade 6, Step 1, in accordance with the Salary Administration Plan), for the position of ' Secretary/Dispatcher, or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article 33 to read: To see if the Town will authorize the hiring of one full- time Secretary/Dispatcher for the Fire Department and raise and appropriate the sum of $3,268.98 to be applied to the Fire Department Wage Account to defray the cost of the Secre- tary/Dispatcher in accordance with the Salary Administration Plan or take any other action thereon. Motion carried. Article 33 accepted as amended. ARTICLE 34. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appro- priate a sum of money to purchase an additional ambulance for the Fire Department, or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded to Indefinitely Post- pone. Motion carried. ARTICLE 35. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appro- prilate or transfer from available funds a sum of money to bring the present ambulance in line with the State Ambulance Regulation -program. ' ACTION: Motion made and seconded to see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $2,370.00 to bring the present ambulance in line with the State Ambulance Regulation Program. ARTICLE 36. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appro- priate a sum of money to equip and clothe the two new Fire- fighters, or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded to raise and appro- priate the sum of $1,390.00 to equip and clothe the two new Firefighters. Motion carried. ARTICLE 37. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appro- priate or transfer from available funds the sum of $10,000.00, or any other sum, to be added to the Fire Department Capital Outlay Account, or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded that Article 37 be Indefinitely Postponed. ARTICLE 38. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appro- priate or transfer from available funds a sum of money to purchase a rescue boat for the Fire Department, orttake any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded to raise and appro- priate the sum of $5,897.00. Motion made and seconded to Table Article 38. Motion carried by 166 yes, and 36 no. ARTICLE 39. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appro- priate or take from available funds a sum of money for the purpose of constructing an Anaerobic Septage Treatment Lagoon as required by the Department of Environmental Quality En- gineering, or take any other action thereon.
