Special Town Meeting -2- June 13, 1979 475 ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article 5 to read: To see if the Town will vote to transfer $6,000 from the Dump Contract Account and $4,000 from the Old Barnstable Rd. and South Sandwich Rd. Construction Account for a total of $10,000 to be applied to the Legal and Engineering Abcount for the Fiscal year ending June 30, 1979• ' ARTICLE 6._ To see if the Town will vote to transfer from available funds the sum of $1,500.00, or any other sum, to defray the cost of the legal notice for the renewal of Town By -Laws. ACTION: Motion made and seconded to Indefinitely Post- pone Article 6. Motion carried. ARTICLE 7. To see if the Town will vote to prohibit the use of boats with engines in excess of twenty (20).horsepower on all ponds in the Town of Mashpee. Any violation of this by- law shall be punishable by a fine of up to $50.00. ACTION: Motion made and seconded to Indefinitely Post- pone Article 7. Motion carried. Motion made and seconded to adjourn the Special'Town Meeting at 14:32 p.m. Motion carried. And you are directed to serve this warrant by posting up attested copies thereof, one at the Town Hall, one at the Post Office, and one each on the bulletin boards, 14'days at least before said meeting.
