-5-
Pauline: That will be written into the Order of Conditions.
Barbara: I just wanted to make sure that he understood that.
Charlest You are not thinking of putting in a boardwalk or anything over the ground
section, are you?
Bruce: No, it is just as it shows right there. In front of some of those lots you
would see maybe 30 feet of marsh where they would want to do that. In front of this
one, there isn't.
Pauline: Thank you. We will take it under advisement. Before you leave $8 for the
fees for the paper ad.
Received $8 check from Bruce
Mr. Deane Beggs, River Road
Mr. Beggst I understand that you have to build a house 100 feet from the river. My
question is where do you start to measure on the river?
Barbara: Well, you are on a bank?
Mr. Beggs: About 25 to 30 feet up.
Barbara: From the top of the bank, you would measure.
Mr. Beggs: But where on the river?
Barbara: From mean high water. Figure out what your high water mark is.
Pauline: Your high Spring water mark.
Barbara: Which you would probably get pretty soon because there is a full moon coming
up.
Mr. Beggs: There is a bank out here (referring to plan) that drops off. Then at a high
tide, it will flood back over here. The ice is out here. It does flood back about two
or three inches over the grass. Then it picks up the bank and the lot squares off at
about 25 to 30 feet above.
Barbara: You can't measure out.
Wayne: You can do it with a transit. It is from mean high water regardless of where
the bank is. You have a deep lot. -- 300 feet. So there should be no problem.
Mr. Beggst I would like to be close enough to get the view of the river and my view
will be from the back of the house.
Dorothy: It is not necessary to place your house further than the 100 feet, Mr. Beggs.
You can place it within the 100 feet provided you apply to us and we write an order of
conditions. It can be placed within the 100 feet but you must file if you are going to
place the building within 100 feet of the river.
