-9-
Mr. Spohr: I want to be sure that the plan has the latest revision on it. I sent the
new revision to the State. I would like to explain this business. What went wrong is
that at first we did not locate all of the wells on Lot 4, Pond Circle. There is only
one well involved in this one and that is Miss Alcide Cormier's. When we first made
our first set of plans, the -proposed house was within the 100 feet. Then when we re-
vised the drawings and made new drawings, as you will see from the rear of the deck to
the channel is marked 98 feet. It would be 108 feet to the house. And I spoke to the
Building Commissioner and he said the distance is measured from the foundation. In
other words the law is when you stere the land within 100 feet of the water, you must
go to the Conservation Commission,. I am not certain, Mrs. DeLory, that we should be
here tonight; but we are very happy to be here. We do not want to make an issue of
this.
Pauline: On the original plan, it was 98 feet.
Mr. Spohr: Yes, there is no question about it. Quickly, I would like to go over the
details of it. Mrs. Anderson witnessed the various tests. The material is satisfactory.
She suggested because the water was down 9Z feet in one place and 10 feet in another test
hole that we use flow diffusers instead of the ordinary pits and we changed the drawings
again to comply with that. As you will see, the house is a.two-bedroom ranch. It is a
rather small house -- 34 feet x 24 feet. The front setback is legally 25 feet. The right
sideline is 10 feet.
Pauline: Will the building inspector allow 10 feet on the sideline?
Mr. Spohr: Yes, that is the minimum requirement. It will be 25 feet in the front, 10 feet
on the side and 10 feet in the rear.
Charles: Is this the house that will go on an existing foundation?
Mr. Spohr: No, it is next to that one, Mr. Buckingham. All of the elevations that are
shown here are mean sea level elevations. I do not believe that it is in the floodplain.
To my knowledge, everything conforms with Title V of the State Sanitary Code. It is 1 ,000
gallons of total affluent. Shows calculations on the plan where they say the total afflu-
ent is 22.0 gallons and they are producing enough leaching for 348. We do have the sewerage
disposal permit and we do have a building permit on this particular lot.
Pauline: I was just going to ask you that. It said observed by Mrs. Anderson. I was just
wondering, did she approve it?
Mr. Kolev: Yes.
Mr. Spohr: The latest percolation was yesterday (5/13/80) at 12:30 p.m. Unless the com-
mission has some questions that I could answer, I have nothing else to say.
Pauline: No, thereare no further questions. Let's go to the next one.
Lot 1143-121 -- 7 Sunset Circle
Mr. Spohr: Passed out revised plan on Lot 9.
Pauline: This is to construct a single family residence also. Was the perk test okayed
by the Board of Health?
Mr. Spohr: Yes, it was.
Ken: Is this on the foundation already there?
