-6-
Mr. Hennigan: Now, this is a better arrangement with diffusers because of lateral
distribution of the air flow and because the permeability rate of the soil is so
good there (20" per hr. ). You.get a lot of lateral flow of the effluent so you
don't get as much going down to the water table. With this configuration and the
fill that we ask for here, instead of the usual 4 feet, we have 8 feet. That was
the reason we did this. He was concerned. There is a lot of vegetation here now --
a lot of trees. The soil is good. The reason for the fill primarily is elevation
for floodplain reasons, as you know.
Pauline: He is going to have a slab on\that?
Mr. Hennigan: Yes. This we advised him because of the vapor barrier primarily
which is always advisable at the 10 foot level. The proposal is sound. There seems
to be no objection from the neighbors. The house itself, as you can see from the
setback, is almost 100 feet from mean shore line. Everything is pretty well setback.
Of course, water is coming from Highwood so we don't have a well problem there.
P^uline: Referring to plan, asks if a section is part of his property or an easement?
Mr. Hennigan: . That is a 5 foot easement. We have plenty of room for there. It is
primarily for drainage purposes.
Pauline: It looks good.
Mr. Hennigan: I would appreciate it if you would issue an Order of Conditions.
Pauline: Any questions, Dorothy?
Dorothy: No.
Pauline: That's it. Asks for $10 fo^ a3vertis':ng fees. Received.
Order of Conditions 5E43-133, Zigmunt W. Pozatek
11. As per plans submitted with Notice of Intent on file with the Ma.shpee Conserva-
tion Commission and the DEQE.
12. The septic system must comply with Title V Mashpee Board of Health Rules and
Regulations.
13. Building shall comply with all floodplain regulations.
14. No heavy equipment to be used near coastal bank.
15. Any area disturbed near coastal bank shall be revegetated immediately. Short-
term erosion control measures such as hay, mulch or nets may be used to prevent
erosion.
Noct hearing scheduled for July 30, 1980.
Respectfully submitted,
Mari yiretn✓✓
Secretary to Conservation Commission
mf
