Hazardous Waste Disposal Area Charles : Evidentally, T am going to be the Hazardous 'Waste Manager for the town. This was in legislation which went into effect on July 15, 1980 which gives a description of a hazardous waste facility and then goes on in summary to say that Chapter 508 known as the Hazardous Waste Facility Oiting Bill amends the zoning act by adding a new paragraph to Section 9. Makes the amendment and provides that a hazardous waste facility is now permitted as a matter of right in any area of your community presently zoned for indus- trial use. We interpret the terminology 'presently zoned for industrial use'to mean those areas zoned for industrial use on the effective date of this act which was July 15, 1980.
