t W`•
CONSERVATION HOARD MiMNG
November 12, 1980
Present:
Ken Pecci, Chairman
Pauline DeLory, Vice Chairperson
Charles Buckingham
Wayne Tavares
Dorothy Studley
The following hearing was scheduled for 7:30 P.M.
SE43-149
Bruce Fulton
Lot 16, Tide Run
Jehu Pond
Ken: Reads Notice of Intent hearing notice -- to construct a single family
dwelling at Lot 16, Tide Run, within 100 feet of Jehu Pond.
Bruce: This is Tide Run. We have three flow diffusors 10 feet from the road
and ?0 feet from the house.
Ken: Where is there a water system?
Bruce: This is all Righwood Water, From the mean high water, we have 63 feet
to the deck. It is a 12 foot deck. It is a total of 75 feet from the edge of
the house. It doesn't say how far it is from the septic system. It has to be
a good 135 to 140 feet. It is a very high lot. We have 14 feet here and 16
feet there,
Wayne: You are still going with the leaching field, though?
Bruce: Bill has been updating all the DEQE stdff and he said that is what they
like now. They are not going to go with the septic system any more. They are
going with three flow diffusors instead.
Charles: (Referring to Arlene's letter) What they are looking at is because of
the rapid infiltration, they are looking for an increase in the filtering layers
below the septic system.
Bruce: With this type of system here, we gain about 4 or 5 feet of soil between
the bottom of the system and the ground water. In fact, we didn 't even hit
ground water. We went down 12 feet. This area right here between Lot 17 and all
the way over as a matter of fact -- Lot 18 starts getting low and Lot 19 is very
low -- but from Lot 17 over are the highest lots in the whole development.
Charles: They are within the 'B".
Bruce: There is a small section up in the "B". I think it goes from Lot 16 over
to Lot 12 or over to Lot 11 -- somethin!> like; that. Lot 10 sits down in a little
hollow, so I know Lot 10 isn't in the "B".
