11 Board of Selectmen Minutes September 11, 2017 OLD BUSINESS Discussion, Action and Execution of the 2017 October Town Meeting Warrant: (continued) Article 94: To set aside the annual Community Preservation 10% Reserves, Motion made by Selectman Gottlieb to support Article#4 of the October warrant as written. Motion seconded by Selectman Sherman. VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. Roll Call Vote: Selectman O'Hara,yes Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman Sherman, yes Selectman Gottlieb, yes Selectman Cahalane,yes Opposed, none Article #5: Community Preservation—Pickleball Court Project at 156 Ashumet Road, The project shall not exceed $420,000. Motion made by Selectman Gottlieb to support Article#5 of the October warrant at the 156 Ashumet Road site location for a sum not to exceed $420,000. Motion seconded by Selectman Cotton. VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. Roll Call Vote: Selectman O'Hara,yes Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Gottlieb, yes Selectman Cahalane, yes Opposed, none Article#6: Ockway Bay Boat Ramp Improvement Project - $121,500 CPA article to fund phase 11 to develop a site plan and to improve the parking facility with paving and parking improvements. Motion made by Selectman Gottlieb to support Article 46 of the October warrant as written. Motion seconded by Selectman Sherman. VOTE: 5-0. Roll Call Vote: Selectman O'Hara,yes Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman Sherman, yes Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Cahalanc, yes Opposed, none Article #7: To fund a CPA project in the amount of$375,000 proposed to assist the Mashpee Housing Authority in the purchase of affordable homes in the Town of Mashpee. In the new buy-down program affordable rental homes would be purchased and administered by the MHA using CPA monies for down payment costs to maintain affordability, There was concern with respect to the absence of the program detail and plan.
