Mills. The plan was
signed.
A preliminary sub-division plan was submitted by Mr. Whitney for
Mr. Cornelius J. Hickey sub-dividing an industrial area into 14
lots . Th.e area is located between Falmouth Road and Greet Neck
Road. Upon questioning, the
Board determined that all the construction work had not been com-
pleted, therefore, - it was agreed that the Bond could be reduced but
not released. The Board made a subsequent inspection and determined
that $5,000 should be retained to cover the cost of foaming and seed-
ing the shoulders and placing road bounds.
Mr. Neil Glynn of Emil Hanslin's office appeared before the Board to
inquire as to the procedure to change an area in the vicinity of
Red Brook Road and Great Neck Road from residence to business zoning.
The Board discussed this matter with Mr. Glynn and recommended that
he have an article prepared for the next Town Meeting. It was brought
out in the discussion that this area was designated business and the
master plan developed by Community Planning Services, but during the
final public hearing it was changed back to residence because of the
opposition by 2 local residents .
l
