OUTREACH COORDINATOR REPORT <br /> Lynne Waterman distributed and reviewed her report for August which included hone <br /> visits appointments, volunteers, meetings and contacts. <br /> Lynne also distributed 'Information on Massachusetts Falls Prevention Coalition, With <br /> Medicaid, Long-Term Care of Elderly Looms as a Rising Cost, and Johnstown Board <br /> reviewing whether senior centers should accept some patients. <br /> As discussed at the Augur meeting, Lynne reported that she Will he getting back to the <br /> Council on the word"Advocacy". <br /> Motion: Jack Dorsey moved to accept the outreach"worker's Report, Seconded by <br /> Jack Irving. vote unanimous. <br /> SOLAR PANELS <br /> Torn Mayo, Assistant Town Administrator, was invited to the meeting to explain the <br /> solar panels. Tom Mayo informed the Council that solar panels were installed at the high <br /> school, DPW, and Mashpee Council on Aging. Under the contract, the Council receives a <br /> bill for kilowatt hours which is 12 cents per KHW vs. 17 cents for power generated by <br /> the system. The Council will be receiving a bill until the contract is up and at that time <br /> the town can choose to buy out. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> new driver has been hired and is in training.
