i 1 IASUPEE COUNCIL ON AGrNG MINUTES JULY 13, 2011 Present: Arthur Eisenberg, Maryjo Dorney, Jack Jordan, Jeanne Noussee, Virginia McIntyre, Norah McCornmicl , Jim Dong,Lynne Waterman. Absent: Jack Dorsey, Irving Goldberg Acting Chair Jeanne Noussee opened the meeting at :30AM in the Senior Center Conference Room. Secreta; 's_Rgport., The Minutes of May 11, 2011 were moved by Jean Noussee, seconded by Virginia McIntyre. A roll call vote was then. All Yes. Public C mnwnt Nothing to report. Treasurer's r .- Jim presented an updated budget report. The operating budget for FY2011 is completed and underspent due to the Formula Grant bung used to back up energy expenses and the salary account underspent. There were lower clerical expenses and no vacation benefits. We are able to use volunteers. we shifted the excess to the donation account. we have $650 to pay for the Health Expo. We plan to spend the remainder. we are looking into the best way to fund a custodian,perhaps using Town Funds, if possible. ' .Director-'s Report:Jim Dong distributed his Report, reviewed each item, and answered questions. Outreach Coordinator's ort: Lynne Waterman distributed her report, reviewed each item, and answered questions. volunteer Assistant Repan. Lynne Waterman distributed this report. OD BUSINESS There is one vacancy on the Board, and Jim Coag is looking for nonminations to fill this vacancy. It was suggested that we nominate a person from Attorney Pat Mello's office. MOTION: Norah moved to nominate an attorney from Pat Mello's office,Jean Noussee ee seconded. A roll call vote was taken. All Yes, Jack Jordan and Maryjo Dorney will need to renew their term with the Town Clerk. NEW BUSINESS: TaxAbatementPIggramo Jim reported we have filled 31 of the 33 openings. Candidates are offered $600 @$8.00 hour, 75 hours, in any department at Town Hall. There are no income restrictions.
