It was noted the hours of operation would be <br /> progmmmed by the DPW to 4leviate usage.during off hours. The approximate <br /> water consumption is$1,300 per year, a cost to be assumed by the DPW dwough <br /> its operating expense budget. The proposed use of the facility is weather <br /> dependent,and it would be most likely used from July 1"through nd September. <br /> Motion n made by Selectman Taylor to approve of Article#6 for placement on <br /> the May 2013 Special Town Meeting Warrant. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Sherman,. <br /> vo Unanimous. -o. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Richardson,yes Selectman Sherman,yes <br /> Behan Taylor,yes Selectman Cahalane,yes <br /> Selectman O'Hara,yes opposed,none <br /> The Finance Committee recommended approval of Article#6 by a vete of -2. <br /> Annual i2MM <br /> AW <br /> e#3: To vote to appropriate from available funds $1.2 ,25to <br /> various dement Capital Accounts. <br /> Police Chief Rodney Collins was in attendance to review capital innprovement <br /> projects recommended for FYI 4. included in the CIP is the replacement of the <br /> Safe Boat Engine, a cost of$41,656. It was noted the safe boat was received as <br /> surplus from the Coate Guard. Curre dy,the boat is not functional for rescue <br /> operations. A new engine would allow the first responder vessel to achieve the <br /> speed and stability required for successful rescue operation. <br /> It was noted that a seen engine was m the FYI4 capital request for funding,but <br /> dine to budgetary constraints it has been deferred to mal year 201 S. <br />
