Land Steward Program <br /> Mr. McManus reported that AmeriCorps volunteers cleaned up the three herring runs. The Tribe <br /> worked to clean up the Mashpee River. Mr. McManus also reported that the Santuit fish ladder was <br /> performing better than last year due to improvements that had been completed. Counts were 0 to over <br /> 100 within a 10 minute period. Mr. McManus stated that the Partnership Refuge would be working on <br /> the pollinator gardens at Jehu Pond. AmeriCorps volunteers also assisted in cleaning up the <br /> community gardens in town. Volunteers will be needed for a trail cleanup and Mr. McManus reported <br /> that an Eagle Scout was working on a project to install trail markers, repair kiosks and trailwork at the <br /> Mashpee River Wetlands. <br /> Pilgrim Nuclear Power Plant <br /> It was decided that the item would be removed from the agenda. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> New Elections of Committee Members <br /> Selectman Cahalane made a motion to nominate Mike Talbot as the new Chair. Mr. York <br /> seconded the motion. All voted unanimously. <br /> Selectman Cahalane made a motion to nominate Drew McManus as Vice Chair. Mr. York <br /> seconded the motion. All voted unanimously. <br /> It was noted that three additional members were needed to complete the 7-member committee. Ted <br /> Theis has resigned but George Petersen has not resigned. Mr. McKay expressed interest in joining the <br /> Committee and also recommended a member from the Tribe. <br /> CORRESPONDENCE <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> MEETING ADJOURNMENT <br /> The next meeting will be Tuesday, May 19 at 6:30 p.m. <br /> Mr. York made a motion to adjourn.
