-a-
Chairman Strickland commented"point well taken". He said that there has been an awful
lot of work and a lot of deep-seeded caring and compassion put into this thing on Ms.
Monroe's behalf. He said that he does not see any reason to continue to bounce this thing
around. It seems like every time we hit a point to clear this thing up, something happens.
The committee and the powers to be have bent over backwards to appease both people.
Mr. Strickland said that it was a one-sided thing. He said that if this thing had taken place
like it was supposed to,they would have found out a lot of other things.
Melbourne Cragwell made a motion to close the matter since the complainant is not
attending. Marcia Lindsey seconded. Peter Dinizio said that he thought it was a good
idea since the person making the complaint isn't here. He said that he felt they should
close it at this time.
Norma Kumin asked if this meeting is a result of a waiver to begin with? Peter D. replied
"Yes"and Jan S. replied`Yes". Norma said that she is very much in favor of the motion.
All in favor.
