The committee previously voted on this budget but unanimously agreed t <br /> change several accounts as follows: <br /> Board Salary $4500 requested, $3900 previously recommended, and changed t $4300- <br /> Agent Salary $20,879.71 remains unchanged as approved <br /> Clerical Salary $16,753.45 requested, $14,253.4.5 previously recommended remained unchanged, <br /> however, $2500 requested for temporary help was approved under- a Wage Account. <br /> Expense $4000 requested, $3000 approved, changed t $3540 ($500 Health Contingency not <br /> legal fund) <br /> Sanitation & Environmental $13,300 requested, $12,000 recommended remains unchanged <br /> sistant Salary $19,260.73 requested and recommended <br /> Health Services - The Board of Health felt that $3000 requested by the Childrens Services <br /> f Poaset- as too high and the funds, or a part of the funds, should go the Center <br /> for Individual & Family Services in Hyannis. A new by-law was passed, and it possible <br /> that the Childrens Service might not be able to treat anyone under of the age of 21. <br />;Salary - Mr. Lawrence felt the members salary should be increased as each member spends <br />;10 to 14 hours meeting/working weekly - he felt the Board should be increased to 5 members. <br />'I`he Vehicle Expense Account of $1000 was eliminated as it should be reflected in the <br /> xpne Account. <br />$12.5,000 was the estimated figure given by Mr. Lawrence for the Landfill Contract. This <br /> is a three year contract, but $12.5,004 represents funding for one year. Personnel at <br /> the dump will be increased to 4 employees daily. <br /> Civil Defense budget approved as submitted - Director Salary $543.33, Expenses $1680 <br /> Ernest Virgilio, public Works Director, requested $20,000 deficit spending for the Snow <br /> and Ice Account; request granted.
