Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> August 4, 2003 <br /> Present: Selectman Leveille, Selectman Green, Selectman Cahalane, <br /> Selects l larsters, Selectman Taylor <br /> Town Administrator Joyce Ilan <br /> Assistant 'Town Administrator Jim Marr <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Leveille at 6:30 p.m. <br /> Town Hall, Conference Room#1. <br /> MINUTES: <br /> Monday, July 14,.2003 a lar and Executive Sessions: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to approve the Regular and <br /> Executive Session minutes of Monday,July 14,2003.as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green* <br /> V : Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Public Comment: bone at this time. <br /> NEW USI SS <br /> Re nest for roval for Grant Apolication-L <br /> Richard York, Shellfish Constable was present to recommend the <br /> Selectmen approve a grant application for the replacement of existing two- <br /> stoke <br /> o-stoke outboard motors. <br /> The Massachusetts Office of Coastal Zone Management has a grant <br /> program entitled"4 The Environment" which provides funding for <br /> rmum ip lities to purchase four-stroke outboard motors. The newer <br /> outboard motors are cleaner, and use less fuel than tiro-stoke outboards. <br /> The grants provide %of the purchase with a %match from <br /> Barnstable County. Where is no east to the'Town. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to approve the Coastal Zone <br /> Management grant application for the replacement of 3 two-stroke <br /> outboard motors as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: 'Unanimous. -0. <br />
