Town o Mash ee <br /> ` lea Xeck oaf Xorth <br /> 1SI4P ZONING Al �' APP16 EALS Massachusetts 02649 <br /> DECISION FOR.A VARIANCE <br /> Ike: Paul Felly 70 Shorewood Drive <br /> Map 58 Parcel 44 <br /> V-0 -82 <br /> A Petition was filed on May 12, 2003 by Paul Kelly for a variance under Section <br /> 174-31 of the Zoning -lags for permission to vary the front and side setback in order <br /> to build a 24' x 24' detached garage on property located in an R-5 zoning district at 7 <br /> Shorewood Drive Map 58Parcel 44 Mashpee, MA. <br /> No- was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General <br /> Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a <br /> newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on May S , 2003 and June 6, <br /> 2003, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, June 11, 2003, at which time the following members of the Zoning Board of <br /> Appeals were present and acting throughout: Robert rt Nel on, Marshall rem and James <br /> Regan. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Mas General Laws, Chapter 4 , Section 1 o and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning -laws. <br /> Paul Felly represented himself a this hearing. He is seeking a variance from the <br /> setback requirements in order to build a 24'x24' detached garage on his property. There <br /> are several abutters that are unhappy with the mess in his card and all of the cars that he <br /> parks there. Mr. Felly submits several affidavits signed by abutting neighbors that <br /> support his project. After sorra discussion with the abutters, the Board would like the <br /> pp <br /> and cleanedp and move to grant a 14.9 foot variance on the southeasterly side and a <br /> 19.9 foot variance in the front card. <br />
