30%V w , AA� ; ' Town o Mashpee MASHPEE ZONINU BOARD OF APPEALS 16 Great Xeck Xpad Xonh Decision for a Special Permit Mashpee, Massachusetts 02649 RE: Margaret Fitzgibbon 701 Creat Neck Road, South Map 104 Parcel 125 SP- 3-91 A Petition was filed o.n May 27, 2003 for a Special Permit under Section 174- 25.A. 8 the Zoning By-laws to build an accessory structure to the three-car garage and attach the main residence to the accessory structure on property located in an R-3 zoning district at 701 Great Neck Road, South Map 104 Parcel 12 Mashpee, MA. Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laves Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication In The Mashpee Enterprise, a. newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, May 30, 2003 and June 6, 2003, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. A Public Dearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Ton Hall on Wednesday, June 11, 2003 and continued to June 2 , 2003, at which time the following members of the Zoning Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Robert Nelson, Richard Currera and Marshall Brenn. The Mashpee ,honing Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40A, Section 9 and the Town of x Mashpee Zoning -laves. Margaret Fitzgibbon represents herself at the hearing on Jure 11, 2003 and again at this hearing. At the last hearing, Ms. Fitzgibbon gibbon sl ed for a continuance In order to provide a new design to attach the main dwelling to the detached three car garage with the bedroom above that she is currently requesting be legalized into an accessory structure. The current zoning requires the accessory structure, which is presently a detached three-car garage with a room over, to be attached to the main dwelling. IIs. Fitzgibbon has presented the Board with drawings showing a proposal to attach the structures. The Board is In agreement with the renderings and she will move forward with finished arc itectural drawings. The Board mores to grant the Special Permit conditioned on the finished drawings berg submitted to the Board No construction shall commence prior to drawings being submitted to the Board.
