i <br /> I <br /> 2 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> April 2 , 2003 <br /> - APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Proclamation Presentation: <br /> Morris Iirsner: <br /> The Board of Selectmen recognized Morris Kirsner as Chairman of the <br /> South Cape Beach State Park Advisory Committee since its inception in <br /> 1975 with a proclamation to honor this dedicated individual. <br /> Les t 1 : <br /> The-Board of Selectmen also recognized Leslie Greig for his dedication <br /> towards the planning, development and establishment ofthe Fresenius <br /> Dialysis Center at Mashpee Commons. <br /> Dance Ambrose, bounty Commissioner—Check Presentation: <br /> Lance Ambrose, County Commissioner was in attendance with Mary <br /> LeClair to present to the Board of Selectmen, a check in the amount of <br /> $53,895. The Board previously earmarked the surplus funding for deposit <br /> into the Town's general fund to assist with the overall Town budget. <br /> Representative Jeff Perm: <br /> State Representative Jeff Perry was present to update the Selectmen on the <br /> Commonwealth's 2004 Budget. Of particular concern were the Chapter <br /> 70 educational formula inequities. He has also requested the PILOT <br /> funding issue be permanently addressed, and funded to provide a <br /> minimum benefit to the communities who face the burden of providing a <br /> variety of local public safety services to State owned properties. <br /> Representative Perry has regular office at Town Hall on Fridays from : o <br /> a.m. to 9:30 a.m. <br />
